MTM to Fight Food Insecurity at 2024 FAHP CONNECT

The 2024 Florida Association of Health Plans (FAHP) Annual CONNECT Conference is right around the corner, taking place from December 2 through December 4 in Orlando. This highly anticipated event brings together Florida health plans, community partners, elected officials, regulators, and keynote speakers to explore impactful ways to improve member health outcomes and overall wellbeing.

This year, MTM is honored to play a key role in supporting an important cause at the conference: the Kids Snack Packing activation. This hands-on, philanthropic activity invites FAHP attendees to join us in assembling healthy snack packs for local children who are battling food insecurity. In collaboration with Feeding Tampa Bay, all snack bags will be donated to local food banks, providing crucial resources for families in need.

Food insecurity will be a central theme at this year’s CONNECT Conference. With Florida’s health plans, industry suppliers, and communities working tirelessly to address the issue, the conference will shine a spotlight on innovative solutions that combat hunger and improve access to nutritious food. MTM’s Snack Packing activation directly aligns with this focus and with our vision of giving back to our communities and breaking down barriers, including those related to food access.
